Priyamani as Vikram’s sister

A succesful hereoine after the movie ‘Pellaina Kothalo’Priyamani won the hearts of Telugu audiences. Now, she got an opportunity to play under the direction of Maniratnam along with Vikram. However, she is not playing the heroine but is donning a very good role of Vikram’s sister in this movie. When asked why she took a wrong decision and accepted the role of a sister instead of playing heroine to Vikram, she replies, ‘An artiste should not always look for heroine’s role. She must be able to perform in any given character and prove herself as a good artiste.’ Especially after bagging the Best Heroine award at national level, she had changed her mindset and is working to prove herself as a good artiste only
